Manama: Asry has announced the delivery of its first ASME U-shaped stamped pressure vessel manufacturing project.
The "U Mark" issued by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a mark of the quality of pressure vessels.
The leading offshore repair and manufacturing plant in the Arabian Gulf stated that it was able to complete and deliver the project within six months of obtaining ASME certification, which enabled Asry to manufacture and repair pressure vessels that are key equipment in the oil and gas industry.
Asry positions itself as the preferred engineering facility in the region, saying that in the past few months, it has been able to attract more pressure vessel manufacturing and maintenance projects through its commitment to safe and on-time delivery of high-quality work.
The shipyard obtained this certification after extensive review of the company's quality management system, engineering, warehousing, production and quality control capabilities. According to the review, Asry was found to comply with ASME's work because of its commitment to applying the highest international standards in all aspects of its work.
